I was making the ‘Fridge Art’ during the Covid-quarantine in March 2020. I used my old drawings and created the collages on the fridge, held by magnets, to have something new to look at while spending prolonged time in the kitchen :)
© Sculptures of My Childhood
When I came to my hometown, after a long time living abroad, I noticed lots of things which I wouldn’t, probably, if I lived there continuously. One of those things was the sculptures I have walked around my whole life, since childhood. These sculptures once defined that whole era and its ideas, and all of it is now gone. Yet the sculptures stayed, but not as shiny and majestic as they used to be. They were hunched and sad, looking for a new purpose and meaning, a place to belong.

Posters designed for The Pickwick Theater Film Series in Park Ridge. The series received the 2015 Community Star Award and were nominated for an Impact Award from the Chicago Indie Critics. Plus a poster for Michael Smith’s film Hekla, and a poster for the Wilmette Public Library’s presentation of Col. Tim McCoy’s Real Wild West.
